Mr. Khalid Gamo

Khaled Gamo, Technology advisor, of Telecom and Information Minister in Libya He was a Director General of National Information Security & Safety Authority (NISSA). Khaled Gamo holds a Bachelor degree in communication engineering and cisco certified. He has over 14 years of experience in the Telecom sector. Khaled was managing Cyber security programs at national level including national cyber security strategy and building Libya-CERT. He was also involved in developing Cyber security legislation initiative in Libya. He was a member of E-government steering committee and he is a team member of Working Group for The Legal Aspects of Child Online Protection in the Arab Region.
Before joining MICT, his experience involved working with vendor, operator and the telecom holding company in Libya, focusing on information security and modern communication networks. He contributed in conferences with white papers in information security, next generation networks and VoIP.
