Research suggests that the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) spending on cybersecurity technology and services is predicted to reach $13.43 billion by 2019, with an expected CAGR of 13.7% for the period 2013-2019. By 2019, 35% of large enterprises will increase their security consulting services spending as they transition from traditional frameworks into digital business. In terms of the need for Cybersecurity, the Middle East and Africa cybersecurity market was valued at USD 14.48 billion in 2017, and it is expected to reach a value of USD 34.6 billion by 2023, at a CAGR of 15.62%, over the forecast period between 2018 and 2023. Over time, global industries are increasingly investing in information and communication technologies which leads to financial sectors, government services, social infrastructures and all other industries becoming exceedingly dependent on internet connectivity and virtual advancements and thereby increasing the scope and necessity of progressive cybersecurity and data integrity. ITU Arab Regional Cybersecurity is organizing “ The 7th Annual Regional Cybersecurity Summit ” which will be hosted by CITRA Kuwait in collaboration with White Paper Summits (WPS). The 7th edition will encompass a vast range of key topics and highlight current trends and future security issues that affect the virtual security of organizations and interfere in business efficiency. The Summit will host 250+ key attendees from across the Middle East and globally to discuss, partner and form new ideas and policies and present the latest technological advancements that can help in battling cyber coercions.
