Speaker Bio

Miriam is one of BAE Applied Intelligence’s most senior female security consultants, with two decades’ experience helping UK government, Defence, and policing organisations to protect their data and themselves against cyber attack. She is currently working with biometrics solutions, where she deals with requirements relating to the privacy of highly personal data as well as national security and identity fraud concerns. In recent years Miriam has been studying International Relations, including an MSc in International Security and a series of study visits to the Middle East. She runs a Women in Cyber Security group within Applied Intelligence, aiming to increase the attractiveness of cybersecurity to females and to promote female role models within the cyber security industry.
