Mohamed is a senior international Telecoms executive, currently Executive Director for Policy and Strategies at The National Telecom Regulatory Authority in Egypt, with 25+ years of international experience in ICT.

His skills and experience encompass a deep knowledge of information security in a Telecoms operator context and he is highly-experienced in all of the associated issues including development of information security strategy and subsequent implementation. Has worked as Vodafone Global ICT Security Adviser for four years (UK) during working as Vodafone Egypt Security Director for 12 years.

Mohamed has performed multiple security assessments/audits of mobile networks in different countries like Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, India, Australia, UK, Italy and Egypt. He has also contributed on the investigation of different high-profile incidents within mobile networks in Europe.

Possesses a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo (AUC). Is a CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC and CGEIT certified professional and a Founder Member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals in the UK. Additionally, speaks Arabic and English fluently
