Akvilė Giniotienė is a senior consultant at NRD CS, a cyber security company with a mission to secure digital environments of the nations by providing consultancy, applied research, inspiration and technologies. She provides consultancy services to the public and private sector on cyber security policies and strategies, critical information infrastructure protection, IT governance, and information security. In 2015, Giniotienė played an instrumental role in advising the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on how to develop Critical Information infrastructure identification methodology, which was recently approved and is currently implemented. Previously, Giniotienė has worked in the public sector and throughout her career of almost 20 years held a number of senior management positions in the Government and international organizations related to national security, information security, training policy and international co-operation.
