Speaker Bio

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and over 30 years in Information Technology, Cherie Pardue currently serves as the CIO at American Hospital Dubai. In her previous CIO positions Cherie developed and led the information technology strategy for healthcare organizations in the United States including Adventist Healthcare and Children’s National Medical Center. Prior to this Cherie spent over twenty years leading large scale project implementations, consulting for non-profits and law firms and has leveraged her marketing background as Product Management/Marketing Director for several .com’s guiding their product launches.

Cherie currently is the President of the Virginia HIMSS Board. She is also a member of the Performance Improvement subcommittee for CHIME, and the Intel/CDW Healthcare Advisory Board, where Cherie plays an active role in advocating and promoting important healthcare topics. Cherie has a degree in Information Technology from the University of Canberra, Australia.
