Cyber Security Resiliency Head - Q-CERT, Ministry of Transport and Communication

Dana Al-Abdulla is Cyber Security Resiliency Section Head at Q-CERT (Qatar Computer Emergency Response Team). Dana holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Qatar University, and a Master’s Degree from HEC Paris in Strategic Business Unit Management. Dana is GIAC Security Leadership certified (GSLC).

Working from the beginning of her career in cyber security gave her the opportunity to develop expertise in different cyber security fields such as Incident Handling, Penetration Testing, Governance, Policy and Compliance.

Currently Dana is heading Cyber Security Resiliency, which is dedicated to provide effective approaches for implementing, evolving and improving maturity of cyber resiliency in national organizations. Dana is also leading Qatar OWASP Chapter (Open Web Application Security Project) which aims to provide education and awareness in web application security. Dana has many participations in local projects for empowering youth in pursuing career in Cyber Security; she has been also participated in various conferences and workshops.
