Speaker Bio

Maitham Al-Lawati is the General Manager of Risk, Compliance at Oman Data Park. He is a part of the executive management team, that joined to establish the first cloud & managed service provider in Oman. Prior to joining Oman Data Park, he was heading the Information Security Department at one of the local leading banks, he has also served at Ernst & Young and various other organizations. Maitham holds a BSc degree in Information Systems from Sultan Qaboos Universit and also boasts several professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, C|EH, ISO 27001 LI, CCNP: Security, ISC2 CCSP. Maitham has more than ten years of experience in cyber security and is a seasonal international speaker.
