Technical Director of Accrete InfoTech Sdn. Bhd.

Mohammed Fadzil Haron is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Accrete Technologies Sdn. Bhd. and Technical Director of Accrete InfoTech Sdn. Bhd., an 18+ year veteran in Information Technology and in Information Security at a global enterprise level, providing training, consulting and services as well as solutions in information security and digital forensics field. He is actively involved as Communication Director and member of ISC2 Malaysia Chapter, SANS Institute Community Instructor/Local Mentor, member of SANS Advisory Board, and GIAC Gold Advisor, besides member of HTCIA and ISACA. He is GSEC (Gold), GCIA (Gold), GCFA, GCIH, GPEN, GCED, SSP-MPA, CISSP certified, ITIL Foundation and very passionate about information security.
His vast experiences includes as Enterprise Disaster Recovery/Resiliency Architect responsible to re-architect enterprise data centers globally, resiliency of services and infrastructures, and enterprise disaster recovery plans and capabilities at a global Resource and Energy company servicing Oil and Gas industries.
He also had an extensive experience at Fortune 100 company to include the technical lead for Corporate Technical Forensics Investigation, data protection, and part of pioneering team in establishing the company’s global Security Operation Center (SOC) after the Sept 11, 2001 terrorist attack incident.
He has extensive experiences in intrusion detection, log analysis, in-depth packet analysis, risk and vulnerability assessment, incident handling, malware analysis, PKI Infrastructure and data protection, investigation interviews, and forensics analysis and investigations. Regular speakers at conferences, instructor at workshops, and has mentored many classes of SANS 401, SANS 503 and SANS 560, and was a volunteer analyst with SANS Incident Storm Center in 2005.
