Speaker Bio

prior to joining the National Guard, Colonel Macias served on active duty in the United States Navy for 9 years as an F-14 Tomcat Weapons System Officer operating off aircraft carriers across multiple deployments. Since joining the National Guard, Colonel Macias has served as Director of Operations and Commander at multiple levels of command for cyber operations units. Additionally, Colonel Macias has served as a cyber advisor on multiple senior staffs. Of particular note to this conference, Colonel Macias has spent over a decade forging partnerships to advance common interests in cyber defense and resiliency efforts across local, state, federal, and international borders as well as with the private sector.
