Speaker Bio

Previously the Foreign and Defence Policy Advisor at the European Parliament, and Advisor to the Secretary General at the Ministry of Justice of Estonia. In 2015 ran as a candidate for the Estonian Parliament elections. Studied Politics and UK Law at the University of Essex, and did further studies at University of Oxford and University of Harvard. He served one year at the Estonian Air Defence Battalion, and is currently a Reserve Officer and a Reserve Platoon Leader. He was born in Sweden during the Cold War, and moved to Estonia after it gained its re-independence. Later on also resided in Portugal, United Kingdom, and Belgium.
