Osama Abduo is a Principal Systems Engineer, for Fortinet Middle East, based in Kuwait, supporting the sales for Fortinet products enabling business agility through IT security improvement. Previously, Osama worked in Gulf Business Machine (GBM) Kuwait as Technical Consultant for the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) Kuwait, contributing to the technical team the latest security technologies against cyber threats. Prior to that, Osama worked as a Senior Network Security Engineer, with Universe Computers, the first Cisco gold partner in Kuwait, with a team of CCIE certified engineers, taking care of design, installation, and configuration, of various technologies and brands, including but not limited to firewalls, switches and routers, UTMs, VPN, IPS, NAC, email security. With over 14 years, Osama has a wide experience in Fortinet, Cisco and Juniper products. Osama graduated from University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2004, with Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and then attended several IT and security courses, and achieved multiple certifications including: Fortinet NSE-5, Cisco CCIE security, and Juniper JNCIS-SEC.
