Ms. Fatma Al Lawati

Fatma Al Lawati is an Omani global cybersecurity expert, certified innovation leader (CIL), a fellowship in Institute of Innovation & Knowledge Sharing (FIKE) with more than 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity and digital technology that led her to participate in many digital transformation government projects where some of them won prizes in World Summit on the Information Society Forum (WSIS). She is supportive and empowering women and youth in cybersecurity being a mentor at United Nation’s Women in Cybersecurity Mentorship Programme under ITU, member in Cybersecurity Forum for Omani Women (CSFOW) and an active member in Women in Cybersecurity Middle East (WiCSME). Fatma is passionate about cybersecurity entrepreneurship. She is founder of Weqaiyah, a user behavior risk analysis solution. She participated in The National Youth Program of Skills Development (NYPSD) with Weqaiyah and won top of 35 projects out of 110 projects. Her attainment of a number of academic and professional degrees such as Information technology in Internet & e-security, Bullet Proof Manager Leadership Development Program, and her recently graduation from Entrepreneurial studies in National University of Singapore (Startup & Technology Accelerator Program) provide her with an impressive blend of technical and management skills that enrich her current role. Fatma represents her country in a number of regional and international programs and forums, she is a fellow in UK – Gulf Women in Cybersecurity Fellowship where she leads innovation syndicate, member in Oman Business Forum that aims to strengthens partnership between the public and private sector. She is an active contributor in the global cybersecurity and tech community that promotes collaboration through knowledge sharing speaking in various national, regional, and international forums and conferences. In addition to organizing and judging in different national and international hackathons.
