A veteran IT professional with more than 2 decades of experience in the fields of software development, web technologies and cybersecurity. Mr. Rashid joined the university of Bahrain's computer science department in 1993, and has built his career primarily in the airline and banking sectors where he acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in his fields of expertise. Currently the CEO of Insight Information Security, Mr. Al Salmi has successfully managed to translate his skills and knowledge into real business benefits for Insight’s clientele - and oversaw the growth of Insight to a medium enterprise hiring more than 70 employees and serving hundreds of customers in Oman. Apart from managing Insight and participating in numerous awareness campaigns annually, Mr. Al Salmi is an active public speaker advocating for cyber hygiene and the enhancement of corporate security standards.
