Speaker Bio

Aziza AL Rashdi is a Cyber Security Expert with over 20 years’ experience in Information Technology and Security. Currently serves as the Director of Cyber Security Professional Services at Oman National CERT, Ministry of Technology and Communications. She was involved in many national, regional and international cyber security projects and initiatives. Aziza was recognized nationally and regionally, in 2018 she was awarded as ‘Women Security Leader’ by Middle East Security Awards in Dubai, and she received a ward by Al Maraa Magazine in Oman for ‘Al Maraa Excellency Award in Technology’. In 2019, Middle East Security Award awarded her as ‘Government Security Leader’. Additionally, she is the founder of ‘Cyber Security Forum for Omani Women’, which is a voluntary initiative aiming at empowering women in cyber security.
