Dr.Lina Oueidat
ICT Advisor to the Council of Ministers Presidency of the Council of Ministers, National Advanced Counter Terrorism and Cyber security
Dr. Lina OUEIDAT is and Electrical engineer – from the Jesuit School in Beirut in 1981, Then respectively obtained a double major PHD in Electronic and then in Biomedical Engineering from ESE- FRANCE achieved both in 1985, she has also a Master 1 in Philosophy from the Lebanese University in 2012
She has been consultant to the Ministry of interior for 24 years National Biometric ID project Manager design and supervision from 1995 to 2018, technical systems for ID authentications, digitizing and microfilming of 10 old civil registry offices from 2014 to 2019, Conducting and execution of automation of 4 parliamentary elections since 2009
She has been consultant on the automation and reform of PCM with UNDP from 2012 to 2014, then advisor to the Prime Minister and PCM after on ICT.
She has been coordinator of the Health Sector rehabilitation project World Bank from 1996 to 1999, Consultant to WHO, KFAED, ISDB, many international industrials in the field of Security and Information system design.
In Lebanon she had been advisor to the ministry of Energy – Beirut water agency reform, Ministry of education, Ministry of Administrative reform and others ministries for short term assignments.
She is owner of ECS sarl consulting firm through which she conducted a lot of national and international expertise in the field of Encrypted telephony, Information System design administrative reform procurement of Information System projects, etc
Dr Lina OUEIDAT has been during all her carrier a professor at the Lebanese University in Mobile Telephony; Microwave Communications Reel Time embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Modern Physics. Supervising today PHD in Cyber security.
During her PHDs studies Dr, Lina OUEIDAT had 4 patents in the field of electronics and medical nuclear and microwave systems control.
