Speaker Bio

Murad Balayev is currently Head of SOC under Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Azerbaijan Republic. He has more than 10 years of working experience in IT sector, especially as a member of Azerbaijan Govermental CERT.
Murad Balayev is a PhD student in the Information Security domain at the National Defense University of Azerbaijan Republic. He also graduated from the Automation of Manufacturing Processes Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees majoring in "Automation and Management".
As a delegate member of Azerbaijan Government CERT Murad Balayev is involved in a number of national and international cybersecurity conferences and events. Moreover, he periodically conducts master-class trainings at various local universities, participates in conferences as a trainer and leads projects implemented in the direction of awareness of state institutions.
